Terms and Conditions
Last updated : August 22, 2026
Crimovies is published and operated by 3LM conseils en ingénierie ("we", "our", "the publisher"). By creating an account or continuing to use Crimovies, you enter into a contract with 3LM conseils en ingénierie and accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
1. The Service
Crimovies is an online service for tracking movies and TV shows: a catalog sourced from third-party databases, watch history, custom lists, a wishlist, a release calendar, and streaming provider suggestions. A paid "Premium" plan unlocks additional features (unlimited lists, an unlimited wishlist, and daily releases on your streaming services).
2. Account and Accuracy of Information
- You must be an adult or have the authorization of your legal guardian; if you subscribe on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind it.
- You provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you may not:
- use it for unlawful purposes or in a manner contrary to public order;
- commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate someone;
- infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties;
- compromise the security of the service: distributing malware, penetration testing, bypassing technical limits, or large-scale automated scraping;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
4. Intellectual Property
3LM conseils en ingénierie retains ownership of the service, its code, documentation, design, and brand. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use within the scope of your subscribed plan. Movie and TV show metadata, posters, and images come from third-party providers and remain the property of their respective owners. Your content (lists, ratings, history) remains yours; you only grant us the right to host and process it in order to provide the service.
5. Availability and Warranties
We make our best efforts to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranty (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) is excluded, and our overall liability is capped at the amounts paid over the past twelve months. Indirect damages (loss of profits, data, or reputation) are excluded. No limitation applies in cases of fraud, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury.
6. Subscription, Payment, and Billing
The Premium plan is offered at €5/month or €50/year, automatically renewed at the end of each period until cancellation. Upon cancellation, Premium access is retained until the end of the period already paid for. All terms relating to payment, billing, taxes, plan changes, cancellation, and refunds are managed by our reseller and governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.
7. Official Reseller (Merchant of Record)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
In other words: our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders; Paddle handles customer service requests and returns.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated violations of our usage rules. You may cancel at any time from the Premium page or delete your account by contacting us. Once access ends, your data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, after a window allowing you to recover it.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable regulations. Substantial changes are announced within the app or by email before they take effect.
10. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by French law; failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts are those of the jurisdiction of the registered office of 3LM conseils en ingénierie, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. We may only assign the contract in the event of a merger or business transfer; you may not assign yours without our consent. Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control.
