Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before the Senate in the GOP’s hyperpartisan investigation into his alleged mishandling of Covid, despite Trump once saying he had “a lot of respect for Dr. Fauci”. Jordan Klepper breaks down the hearing’s biggest moments, from Fauci repeatedly invoking the Fifth Amendment to Senator Josh Hawley citing diary entries and an Instagram commenter bringing the eggplant emoji into the discourse. For America’s 250th birthday, Michael Kosta asked New Yorkers who the greatest American of all time is - and naturally, they got it wrong. The answer? John Motherfucking Stamos. Luckily, Stamos was there to help a starstruck Kosta set the record straight. Also, award-winning journalist Theo Baker joins Klepper to discuss his Stanford research misconduct investigation, President Marc Tessier-Lavigne’s 2023 resignation, Silicon Valley’s grip on campus, and how Baker got powerful sources to open up to a teenager. (Last episode before the summer break).
